Exhaust gases coming out from stationary diesel engines and running forklifts in factories, buildings, warehouses and tunnels make negative effect on people and be harmful on the enviroment and various materials.
Products may be damaged and dizziness seen in operators are results of carbon monoxide accumulation. Bad odors, irritation of eyes, nose and throat arise from aldehides in exhaust gases. Building Maintenance , becomes additionalty problematic with the familiar blue smoke exhaust which can cause heavy staining of walls and extreme discoloration of windows. The high level of noise from diesel engines makes these abetement of noise pollution an extra burden. Now for any diesel engine these problems can be simply and inexpensively overcome by fitting an exhaust gas purfier.
LPG Engines - no less a threat
Vehicles fitted with Liquid Petroleum Gas powered engines, are certainly not cleaner than diesel engines. Since LPG engines do not run in the presence of excess air , complete combustion of the fuel within the engine is almost imposibble. So though the exhaust does not carry the characteristic diesel smell it does contain levels of carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons, and is a consequent threat to operators and the materials handling function.
Spark arrestors
We have spark arrestors for sectors where there is risk of fire, like textile and chemistry products. |
